Memorable Quotes:
"The world breaks everyone, and afterward, some are strong at the broken places."
Ernest Hemingway
"While I breathe, I hope." SC State Motto
"Growing up Southern is a privilege, really. It's more than where you're born; it's an idea and a state of mind that seems imparted at birth. It's more than loving fried chicken, sweet tea, football, and country music. It's being hospitable, devoted to front porches, magnolias, moon pies, coca-cola...and each other. We don't become Southern - we're born that way." Unknown

Easter 2010
Here are the girls before Easter service. :) I found this second one that I think is precious! They look like they are having a conversation. Probably something about Mama dressing them alike, and questioning the point behind the gigantic bows in their hair....
Lillie at 4 months
Here's Lillie sitting up all nice and pretty (okay, so she's actually propped up all nice and pretty, but that's beside the point) and wearing a homemade dress. :)

Blue-eyed girl....
Here's an up-close of Lillie's big blue eyes. Go figure. Both her parents have brown eyes, but her grandfathers both had light eyes, so she got the 1 in four chance for blue eyes. And her hair is pretty light too. We still like her.

Happy St. Patrick's Day
For those of us of Irish descent, today is a big day. Okay, so we're Scots-Irish, but we'll split that hair later. Sara-Kate and Lillie got new duds for the occasion. Yes, I made them, but I'll call them new anyway.

New Pants!
I've been trying out my hand at sewing, and the girls' new pants were my latest project. Sara-Kate has deemed them "cute," quite a high compliment if I do say so myself. :)
Springing into spring...
Not too much going on these days. I was going through some pictures on the camera, and I thought this was a great shot of Sara-Kate. She was outside enjoying the spring-like weather with her Daddy.

Lillie feeling comfy....
I don't know if it's particularly blog-worthy, but here are a couple of recent shots of Lillie. She's growing up way too fast for me!
